Workshop Part I: Learning – the Art of the Possible

A highly practical session focused on tools and techniques practitioners need for Learning Innovation.. Most companies have embraced the reality of outsourcing human resource back office systems and are now concerning themselves with how to innovate. Is Learning Outsourcing wild and wacky, or is it now becoming intrinsic to a companies performance? And if intrinsic how can it be delivered?

This Learning – the Art of the Possible Workshop will offer multiple exciting perspectives on state-of-the-art learning approaches, learning transformation, and learning outsourcing through a program of insight, expertise and interactions to help inform, discuss and act:

  • Learning Innovation – we will touch on new aspects of learning such as serious gaming and second life, and discuss interaction models that the audience believe will have the greatest impact on their current learning operations
  • Learning Efficiency – using IBM Learning as a case study we will look at the different stepping stones that can be taken to get to real learning transformation. We will discuss the drive towards eLearning, closing brick and mortar facilities, building new curriculum, vendor management, transformed learning and then select a couple of priorities for team deep dive work. We will divide into workgroups to explore key transformation themes and each group will then feedback on their findings.
  • Learning Outsourcing – Answering some of the burning questions from the Workshop - Why would you outsource the transaction? What is the back office of learning? During this section, the workshop delegates will be able to interact and learn from live customer examples.

The workshop will close with some key next steps to enable decision making within the delegates organisation as to the appropriate next steps to turn their Learning Art of the Possible into reality.
